Summer Employment for Children of Faculty and Staff

Each summer, the College has a limited number of on-campus summer jobs and accepts applications for work in various departments according to the following guidelines:

  • The first priority in employment will be for children of College faculty and staff who are currently attending or are enrolled in undergraduate colleges.
  • The next priority in employment will be for Williams College students on financial aid whose permanent home address is in the Williamstown area.

Children of faculty and staff must be at least seventeen years of age in order to work. Working papers are required for those under eighteen and can be obtained at the local high schools. Upon graduation from undergraduate school or reaching age twenty-two, eligibility for summer employment at the College ends.
