Instructions for Setting up a New MERA/DCRA Account
These are the instructions to complete the 2010 FSA-MERA/DCRA Online Enrollment for New Participants.
Must be completed by December 18, 2009
If you are paid on an academic year basis, please contact the Benefits Office for instructions.
Creating a New Account
- Log on to www.myebsaccount.com
- Click on the link under New Participant.
- Enter the Group Pass Code EBS104847 on the Create a New Member screen.
- Enter your Employee ID Number from your pay stub in the following format: 99_ _ _ _ _ _ _ .
- Enter your Email Address.
- Enter a Username to use with this account.
- Create a Password and confirm your Password.
- Enter the "Name" fields.
- Skip Birth Date and Employment Start Date.
- Click Create New Member.
Updating Your Personal Profile
- Enter the "Address" fields.
- Enter e-mail address.
- Other fields are not required.
- Click "Save."
To Add Elections
Click "Open Enrollment" on the "My Account" menu option.
- For each plan type, click "Enroll."
- Enter your "Annual Election Amount" (maximum $5,000). DO NOT USE $.
- Select 042104847_S from the drop down box under "Payroll Calendar."
- Click "Save."
- Choose "Continue Enrolling" to make additional plan type elections or Choose "Confirm and Submit" when done enrolling.
Note: You may edit elections at any time during the Open Enrollment Period. When the Open Enrollment Period closes, your most recent election will be saved.
After all elections are "Confirmed and Submitted," the following message will display:
"Your application has been received. If you have any additional questions, please contact your administrator."
Print the confirmation page and keep it for your records.
You can now select another menu option or log out.
To Request Additional EBS Flex Card(s) for your Spouse or Dependent
- Download the Additional Flex Card Request form.
- Print the form, complete the form, and return it to EBS for processing.
