Why doesn't my password work?
- Are you trying to use your Financials password? The first time you go into the PeopleSoft HR/Student system, you have to set up your password in it.
- Are you trying to get into the PeopleSoft Finance system rather than the PeopleSoft HR/Student system? The PeopleSoft Finance system and the PeopleSoft Human Resources system are two separate computer systems.
- Did you enter a capital 'W' before your User ID number?
Where can I find out more information about password usage at the College?
Why are some menu options in a drop-down list and some just start with a dash?
- No particular reason. You can click on any link in the menu and it will take you to another page or another menu item.
Why do some menu options appear in the menu on the left and also in the box to the right?
- To accommodate various styles of working. Some people prefer searching a list. Some people prefer icons and groups. As we add more self-service options, the groups to the right will increase.
I wanted to update my primary emergency contact's address information. He/she has the same address as I do, but the Edit Address button isn't there until you remove the check mark for that statement. What's going on?*
- When the "Same as" checkboxes are checked, the address and/or phone information is a view of YOUR contact information. If the data is incorrect, call the HR office at x2682 or the Dean of the Faculty's Office at x4138 to correct your information. Once your information is correct, it will show for your emergency contact who has the "Same as" checkboxes checked on.
