Honor System Committee (4-1-8)

The Honor System Committee, a subcommittee of the Discipline Committee, hears cases of alleged violations of the Honor Code and recommends appropriate action to the Dean of the College, who makes the final decision. The four faculty members of the Honor System Committee, who serve in an advisory capacity only, are selected from the eight who serve on the Discipline Committee, of which one is the chair of the Discipline Committee. The Dean of the College is a non-voting ex officio member. (See Student Handbook, “Academic Honesty and Honor Code.”)
