Committee on Diversity and Community

The Committee on Diversity and Community, formerly the Commission on Campus Race Relations (CCRR) focuses on issues of diversity and community on campus and makes recommendations on both curricular and extracurricular matters with the intention of promoting better understanding between and among groups on campus. The President solicits nominations and self-nominations from the campus as a whole and through the regular College Council and Faculty Steering Committee procedures for selection of faculty, staff, and students to committees and annually appoints the Committee Chair and members. The two ex officio members are the President(s) or other officer of the College Council and the Vice President for Strategic Planning and Institutional Diversity, who serves as secretary.
