Configuring your iPhone to check email

First, the phone must be activated (meaning you can make calls with it)

1. Click Settings
2. Click Mail
3. Click Add Account
4. Select Other
   • For Name, put your real name e.g. Eph Williams
   • For Address, put your short email address e.g. ewilliam@williams.edu
   • Enter your college password (this may be difficult, so type slowly)
   • Description can be Williams email
5. Click Save
6. Make sure IMAP is selected (is blue)
7. For Incoming Mail Server:
   • Host Name: facstaffmail.williams.edu
   • User Name: username e.g. ewilliam or abc3
   • Password: if you entered it earlier, it should be here already
8. For Outgoing Mail Server:
   • Host Name: mail.williams.edu
   • User Name: username e.g. ewilliam or abc3
   • Password: you'll need to enter your password again
9. Click Save
