How to use Nero to create a VCD

To launch Nero, go to Start > Programs > Utilities > Nero > Nero OEM > Nero Express.

This will bring up the Nero Express window. Select Videos/Pictures > Super Video CD (SVCD)

This brings up the MY SUPER VIDEO CD window. To add video files to be written to the to the CD, click on the ADD button or drag and drop video into the window.

After adding all the video files you intend to burn onto the CD, click on NEXT.

The MY SUPER VIDEO CD (SVCD) menu appears.

You can change the look of the menu by using the following options:

• Layout button: Lets you change the menu thumbnail count and add/remove footer/header text from the menu
• Background button: Lets you change the background color or add a background picture.
• Text button: Lets you edit menu text information
• Show full screen menu option: Lets you preview the menu window
• Set as default: Sets the current configuation as default

Click the NEXT button.

This brings up the final burn settings window where you can select the recording device, name the disc you are burning, set a write speed and select the number of copies.

Click BURN to write the CD after making your selections.
