Windows XP/2000 with Novell Client

Windows XP without Novell Client
Without the Novell Client, one can print in one of two ways. The first is directly to the printer and the other is through the Novell LPR printer server. We highly recommend against printing directly to printers. Printing to an LPR server on Windows XP requires the addition of Print Services for Unix. You may be prompted for the Windows XP Professional CD to complete the installation.

- In Control Panel, click Add or Remove Programs.
- Click Add/Remove Windows Components.

- Provide a name for the printer, the queue name is a good suggestion. Click Next.

- Click Next when asked for a test page. Click Finish and confirm printing of test page by visiting the printer.
