Keeping your computer updated and protected from viruses and spyware is part of your responsibility as a member of the Williams College Network.

  • Your computer, even without your knowledge, can cause you to violate the Williams College Computing Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Viruses, trojans, and spyware can cripple your machine and destroy your data.
  • Every year, students get their network access shut off or lose important data to these attacks.
  • Most problems can be easily prevented by following a few simple procedures.
