Setting up an automatic reply (Auto-reply) using the mirapoint webmail client

Note: You can turn Absence mail (Auto-reply) on and off from either the go/myaccount site or from the mirapoint webmail client. Either will work fine, but if you turn it on in one location, use the same location to turn it off.

  1. Log in to http://webmail.williams.edu
  2. Click the Options link in th upper right corner.
  3. Select the Mail: Settings section.
  4. Enter your reply subject and message. For example:
    Subject: Out of Office
    Message: Ephraim Williams will be on sabbatical from 1893 to 1895 with only occasional access to email. I will reply to your message pon my return.
  5. Select the Yes button.
  6. CLICK APPLY!

To turn auto-reply off:

  1. Log in to http://webmail.williams.edu
  2. Click the Options link in th upper right corner.
  3. Select the Mail: Settings section.
  4. Select the No button.
  5. CLICK APPLY!
